Dr. Sashi Nallapati B.D.S., Cert.Endo - Endodontist

Dr. Sashi Nallapati obtained his dental degree from the Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad, India. Dr. Nallapati practiced general dentistry in Ocho Rios, Jamaica from 1996 through 2004. During that time his practice was focused in Endodontics. His practice was the first to introduce the Surgical Operating Microscope to Dentistry in Jamaica in 2001.

Dr. Nallapati completed his post graduate training in the specialty of Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University (NSU), Davie, Florida, USA in 2006 where he received the Dean’s award for the outstanding presentation by a resident. After his graduation, he chose to come back to Jamaica and set up a quality centered endodontic practice in Kingston, Jamaica.
He is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and a member of Jamaica Dental Association. Dr.Nallapati is currently eligible for the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) certification and is on course for the Diplomate status. He serves on the faculty of Nova Southeastern University, college of dentistry as a visiting associate professor in the dept. of Post Graduate Endodontics where he teaches post graduate residents.
Dr Nallapati chaired the Jamaica Dental Association, 44th Annual Convention in 2008. He was instrumental in organizing the first Hands on course in Endodontics in Jamaica with table top surgical operating microscopes with the collaboration of Global Surgical Inc. and Spartan Obtura.
Dr. Nallapati along with Drs. Beck & Knight is the founder of Kingston Study Club (KSC), the first study club in dentistry in Jamaica with a mission to promote interdisciplinary approach to Dentistry. KSC organizes continuing education courses for members of Jamaica Dental Association by bringing world renowned clinicians to the shores of Jamaica.
His hobbies include digital photography, hiking, swimming and reading.

Lectures

Dr. Nallapati lectures across the globe on the clinical management of complex endodontic anatomy, calcified teeth and the importance of case selection and how to build a quality centered endodontic practice. He was invited by the National Endodontic Societies of many countries including USA, Spain, Germany, India, Venezuela, and Costa Rica.
